The Humanities Center fosters advanced research in the humanities, both by University of Pittsburgh faculty and by leading scholars from around the world. It cultivates interdisciplinary and collaborative study, programming, and teaching.

The Humanities Center is housed in the refurbished Darlington Library in the Cathedral of Learning, Room 602.

Given the ongoing unpredictability of the pandemic, events in the Humanities Center for the duration of Spring 2022 remain virtual, always in the Pitt Humanities Center Zoom.  The Center's space in 602 CL is also not currently available for other events.  We will make that space available again for use by colleagues as soon as we can.
