Colloquia, held on Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. during the fall and spring terms, are collaborative discussions focusing on written work disseminated by Humanities Center fellows and guests. Humanities Center colloquia typically feature remarks by the author of the works to be discussed, prepared responses by several faculty experts on the topic, and then an open discussion among the participants and the audience. All colloquia will be posted on the Events page and on our Google calendar.
Readings for the colloquium series can be found on the Pitt Humanities Center SharePoint. You can access the Humanities Center SharePoint through My.Pitt and select "My Resources", "Humanities Center".
They are posted at least two weeks prior to the colloquium.
Readings can also be provided by sending a request email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
